Allocation of Budget for Denotified and Nomadic Tribes in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Budget 2011-2012 (Denotified and Nomadic Tribes)

Government intends to implement “Yashwantrao Chavan Mukta Vasahat Yojana” for upliftment and to raise living standards of Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes and to provide them stability and to bring them in main stream of society. Government proposes to make available the land and to construct houses for people belonging to Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribbes, who are below the poverty line and have not availed benefits under any other Government scheme. For this purpose an outlay of Rs.20 crore is proposed for the year 2011-12.
